Reply:unfortunately both sets of names pretty much mean that the child is looking for a hard time in life.
Reply:Both are just as bad if you ask me! Some parents don't even bother to notice that they're pronouncing the name differently than it's spelled. And then people wonder why it's taking so long for the child to be able to spell their own name....
Reply:dumb names are worse. at least ghetto names sound KINDA cool sumtimes...."blanket" or "safety pin" are never cool names

Reply:lol, lets not forget picabo street!!! Personally, I don't like the dumb names or the ghetto names, but who's to say whats a good name? Look at the difference of names from Bible times to today. basically parents can name their kids whatever they want and they shouldn't be criticized for it. some names have a special meaning that is only significant to that person or that parent that decided on that name. at one point everybody's name was brand new and was probably a little weird at the time.

I have never met an Apple or blanket. I have met quite a few Laquisha and daquisha's, taquisha's, moniquishiqa's, etc.
Reply:They all sound awful to me. What's wrong with James or Paul or Mary?
Reply:I admire creativity with names, but a dumb name is a dumb name Laquisha and Blanket are both really bad names for a human being. Lalaishea actually sounds kinda musical and I never heard that before. It's actually pretty. However I have seen with my own eyes a child named Placenta. *rolls eyes*





People! Creativity is okay, but remember that one day your baby will be a grown person trying to get a job! Would you hire Placenta? Would you vote for Placenta? If you giggle when you name them, change the friggin name.
