Is CHARDONNAY a "ghetto" name?

i'm asking because my cousin is thinking of naming her baby girl that her spellings are Chardonnay, Shardonay, %26amp; Chardonai so do you this this name is ghetto cause i do

Is CHARDONNAY a "ghetto" name?
Spelled Chardonnay it's not that ghetto. But It's abit harsh sounding, has she considered Charmaine, Chantal or Chanelle?
Reply:Chardonai is nice..

maybe have it as a middle name...then the kid can use it as a first name or not.

Sounds like a million dollar baby to me... Hi to your cousin...

Reply:That kid will absolutely hate its mother when she's given a name like that. As of right now, try to sell her on Brandy or Sherri... at least those are alcoholic drinks that actually pass as a name.

Do you think that any adult will be hired with the name Chardonnay? NO! I sure as hell know I'd never hire a woman with that name, because I would think she grew up in a completely uneducated household, full of people who breed with their siblings.
Reply:Chardonnay is a type of wine. Not a name.

Plus it would probably be used as a strippers name and a prostitute. Maybe your cousin wants her daughter to become a stripper/prostitute. If that's the case suggest Chardonnay Nevaeh. Them to names are both trashy.
Reply:um... yeah, that's pretty much a ghetto name. BUT, it's not your kid so you don't get to name it... tell her that people might call her kid shard (like shart- sh*t and fart...) lol... what about shaydonae? it's mostly the same but change one letter... then you get better nick names... shay, donae, naenae...hope some of that helps! GOOD LUCK!
Reply:No, it just sounds like you ended up drunk at a bar, and Chardonnay was something you remembered drinking before passing out. No offense though. *laughs weakly* Try spelling it differently, and not cheap-sounding.
Reply:Yes, Chardonnay would be considered a 'ghetto' name. And the alternate spellings would make it further make 'ghetto'.
Reply:sounds a little too close to "Sha-nay-nay" so yea I think it sounds a little ghetto, but me personally, I prefer classic names.
Reply:Honestly I agree with you. It's like naming your baby Shiraz or Pinot Grigio. I don't like it but if she does then you will get used to it.
Reply:Horrible Chavvy name. It sounds like the mother was drinking too much when she was thinking of names. it's like other chavs who have actually named their daughters Stella Artois.
Reply:Very. It's also quite a trashy sounding name too. However if she does go for it (which I hope she doesn't) her daughter could go by Donna or Char.

Hope this helps

Reply:yes it is. just like hennessy, mercedes, porshe any of that
Reply:in the uk we would say- totally chavtastic.
