Reply:Eminem has not earned a ghetto pass in my book. He's racist towards black women and he's not really from Detroit. I live in Detroit and i know where he used to live... on the other side of 8 mile is a white suburb town called 'Warren'... thats where he's from and there's nothing ghetto about it. Eminem is a good rapper but he's a phony and I have no respect for him.





Bill clinton is cool in my book though.

Reply:we are the only white people in a 10 block area in "downtown" raleigh.it is the "hood."there are crack houses and prostitutes and shootings.(by persons of every ethnicity who come to this neighborhood%26gt;)my husband liked the house and bought it b4 we even dated.we married,i moved in.its a quircky neighborhood,and not what i grew up with or am used to,but i am friends with several neighboring families who are about the same age as my husband and myself,and despite the problems,we have no intention of leaving.i dont kno if that makes me down with evry1 or what,and i didnt mean to offend by pointing out their are problems in this neighborhood,but its the truth.there have been 4 fatal shootings nearby,for example.im not blaming that on any one ethnicity,and for the most part,its people outside this neighborhood who come in and cause trouble,like the robbers who targeted and shot hispanic families in february.most of my neighbors are gr8 people,in an older but still good neighborhood,that is experiencing inner city issues.i have no intention of leaving.we are close to some of the families on our street and close to our jobs.id rather stay and make it work ,than run.my husband has been here 5 years.me,3 years.look up "east jones street" raleigh,for more info about the neighborhood.ps-as for the person who insinuated every 1 who lives here has no jobs or goals,thats crap!my neighbors work,and i work at the raleigh science museum.and yes,some of the people here,including myself,have a degree.
