What do you think about parents that name their kids.
eyeasha
shantay
deonte
laquika
and my favorite
orangelo ( named after orange jello)
Do you think its cute and won't affect their livesor do you think it sets a false sterotype dispite the personality of the person.
P.S. I'm black so this isn't rasict question im just curious.
How do you feel about " ghetto" or "ethic" names.?
if you're black, why is your avatar a white guy?
Reply:I think it doesnt matter. Parents have the right to name their child what ever they want to name their child. I had a teacher whos name was Mr Harry Pussy and seriously. Anyways I dont have a problem with it I like unique names. I would have to say that I really really like names that have important meanings to them though. Like one of my friends name is Themba. It's HOPE in Zulu. He's actually white but his dad lived in Africa for several years.
Reply:As long as they are phonetically sound, then that is okay with me.
This one girl had a name missing vowels, and yet expected everyone to know how to pronounce her name. There is no way people are going to know that "Lqsha" is supposed to be pronounced as "Lakisha."
Reply:im puerto rican and grew up in the bad parts of the city i live in and hear these names all the time honostly i hate them i think there ugly names forreal forreal im not ryna put noone down but there ugly names
Reply:I think it sets a false stereotype, although some names are cute.
Reply:I think it's a false stereotype but then again, who am I to judge what people name their kids? It's none of my business.
Reply:Props to them for not putting yet another Mike and Jennifer in the world
Reply:haha, i would love to have one of those names....they're, um, unique! they make me happy.
Reply:Probably the same way I feel about: Xzyle...nothing.
