Reply:Why is a unique, or even crazy, name associated with the 'ghetto'? I think Apple is a stupid, crazy name. Also, think about Demi Moore's kids: Rumer, Scout? Come the heck on? Not that I would ever name my kids something unique like Kaprisha, I don't think you should be associating a name with an area of town.





That's what's wrong with people today. This is the prejudice and racism a lot of people face because of their name. It has been proven, in at least TWO studies, that employers will call people back with names like Sara and Brendan before they call Tyrone or something otherwise considered 'black' back.

Reply:Somebody I know works for the welfare office, I'm not going to say because i don't want to get anybody in trouble but recently this told of a name of one of her/his clients child is D'a Baby and it's pronounce just like it spells The Baby and somebody I know named their child Remy and the middle name was Martin, we can only guess how what they were drinking on that night.
